College of Education is one of the academic units of the University of Gondar.  The College of education as a legal entity of the University appeared to be a budgeted academic wing in the 2009/10 fiscal year as the late school of Education. The College is assumed as a vital portion of the teaching-learning process of the University which takes a prime mission for preparing highly qualified professionals in the fields of education, conducting research, and community Services.
